Manifestation (rythym)

(Dark alternative metal / nu-metal with post-grunge influence. Heavy, groove-driven, haunting, tense and catchy. Open with eerie guitar feedback and a slightly unstable, almost out-of-tune texture. A low distorted rhythm guitar enters with a sparse syncopated chug, followed by a catchy, haunting lead-guitar riff. Keep the riff simple, memorable and instantly recognizable; it should become a major hook and recur throughout the song. Gradually let the full band adopt and reinforce the riff.

Verses are restrained and spacious with low, tense guitar, heavy bass and detached conversational vocals. Leave room around the short lyric lines. Build pressure rather than constant volume.

Choruses explode into huge distorted guitars, hard groove-driven drums and aggressive melodic vocals. Make “Aim low” the major vocal payoff: punchy, memorable and easy to shout. Let the instruments hit hard around the words rather than filling every space.
