Glass Moon Spiral

[Verse 1]
I found your name in the ashtray ring
On a motel table, under green glass
You said, "Don’t blink when the colors bend"
So I kept my eyes on the passing cabs
Your ring on the sink had a cracked red stone
Your laugh in the hall like a radio ghost
