Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Remixy.AI (the "Service"), operated by Remixy.AI ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Remixy.AI. If you are under 18 you must have your parent or legal guardian's permission. You represent that the information you provide during signup is accurate.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password (or OAuth-linked account) secure. You are liable for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Credits & payments

  • New accounts receive a one-time signup gift of 150 credits after email verification. Generation costs are deducted from your balance.
  • Subscription credits refresh according to your plan's billing interval. One-time top-up credits do not expire.
  • If a generation fails on the AI provider side, the deducted credits are refunded automatically.
  • Refunds for paid plans or top-ups follow our Refund Policy. Generally we do not refund credits that have already been spent on successful generations.
  • Subscription billing is handled by Stripe. You authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on each renewal until you cancel.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Generate audio that infringes copyright. Do not include the names of real artists, copyrighted lyrics, or characteristic voices of specific living performers in your prompts. Our upstream provider may reject such requests.
  • Generate content depicting child sexual abuse material, real-person sexual content without consent, content that incites violence or hatred, or any other content unlawful in your jurisdiction.
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service without our written permission.
  • Reverse-engineer the Service, attempt to access another user's account, scrape data, or interfere with our infrastructure.
  • Exploit referral or coupon systems through fake accounts, automation, or any form of fraud.

Violations may result in immediate account suspension without refund, and removal of offending content.

5. Ownership of generated audio

  • Free tier. Audio you generate is for personal, non-commercial use. You may share it with attribution to Remixy.AI.
  • Premium tier. You receive a commercial license to the audio you generate, subject to your continued compliance with these Terms.
  • Pro tier. Same commercial license as Premium, plus WAV downloads and higher-priority queue.
  • We retain a non-exclusive right to use your generated audio anonymously to improve the Service (e.g. quality monitoring, public showcase if your track is set to Public).

6. Third-party services

Remixy.AI relies on third-party providers (SunoAPI, Stripe, SendGrid, OpenAI, OAuth providers). Your use of the Service is also subject to their terms. We are not responsible for outages or content moderation decisions of these third parties.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time — see the Data Deletion page. We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. On termination your credits expire and your audio is removed within 30 days.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. AI-generated audio may contain artifacts, may not match your prompt exactly, and may occasionally resemble copyrighted material. You are responsible for verifying the originality of audio before using it commercially.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app banner at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
