math rock / alternative rock,

[Verse 1]
I was chasing every flashing sign,
Running circles just to pass the time.
Built my castle out of borrowed dreams,
Nothing ever stayed the way it seemed.
Then the silence cut through all the noise,
Like a whisper stronger than my voice.
