Original epic orchestral CHORAL SONG. The choir is the lead throughout, singing repeated lyrics over the orchestra. Dark, urgent, ceremonial and powerful.

Large mixed choir with deep bass voices, strong tenors and soaring sopranos. Alternate tightly rhythmic chanting with long, dramatic sung phrases. Different choir sections answer each other, overlap and combine in thunderous unison. Keep vocals clearly audible above the instruments.

Accompaniment: racing strings, commanding French horns, heavy low brass, timpani and orchestral cymbals. Minor-key tension, dramatic harmonic changes and natural concert-hall acoustics. The orchestra supports the singers.
